Security Consultant, Amazon Web Services
Background
Jamie is a security consultant for Amazon Web Services, the market leading cloud computing platform. He is currently based in Australia, working with customers from across APAC to help make sure their AWS platforms are as secure as possible. His focus as well as broader cyber security controls is on Governance and Risk Managament. He has held a number of senior roles including being a Director of Cyber Consulting at PwC, and VP of Cyber Governance at JP Morgan. Prior to his career in the private sector Jamie worked for the UK Government, at the Foreign Office, Ministry of Justice, and Ministry of Defence. He holds an MEng in Computer Systems Engineering from the University of Bristol, an MA in European Politics from Masaryk University, and is a Chartered Engineer with the British Computer Society
