In addition to the learning experience and hands-on sessions (if the course includes these) training is a worthwhile way to expand your professional network – often training providers are happy to stay in touch with delegates and normally the contacts made with other delegates prove useful too in solving future problems, learning from the experiences of others and understanding how different companies and sectors approach security.
CPD points can be claimed for CCP CPD for all CIISec accredited courses at the rate of:
1 point per hour of training for GCHQ/CIISec approved courses (up to a maximum of 15 points)
1 /2 point per hour of training for all other courses (up to a maximum of 15 points)
