The Associate Development Programme (ADP) is a two-year programme that has been created to help new recruits to the profession to develop their skills and knowledge against the CIISec Skills Framework. The 18 session programme (monthly) consisting of webinars and face to face events aims to help participants gain Associate Membership of the Institute.

BT Specialist Security and Assurance manager with over 30 years’ experience in Networks, IT infrastructure and security. I am a Branch Chairman of CIISec providing representation on the UK Cyber Security Council leading on a cyber threat initiative.
I have recently introducing industry security benchmarks, provided oversight to security tooling and vulnerability management and cryptographic uplift and integration of new threat modelling.
Leslie Willis, Network Security Evaluation & design at BT
Graduated from Teesside
University with a BSc in Computer Science, have worked on web applications,
both front end and back end services, for BT Conferencing and BT.com. Moved
into BT Security in 2006 providing security consultancy to a range of products
and services specialising in network security. Currently working on Software
Defined Network and Network Function Virtualisation security including working
with ETSI NFV SEC on a number of security specifications.
