Mel Turner, BT - CIISec East Anglia Branch Chair
BT Specialist Security and Assurance manager with over 30 years’ experience in Networks, IT infrastructure and security. Mel is a Branch Chairman of CIISec providing representation on the UK Cyber Security Council leading on a cyber threat initiative. Mel has recently been introducing industry security benchmarks, provided oversight to security tooling and vulnerability management and cryptographic uplift and integration of new threat modelling.
 

Andy Young, Security Solutions Architect at Keysight Technologies

Andy Young has been involved in application and security testing for over 17 years, and helping customers understand threats & risks posed by threat actors targeting them. In his current role, Andy is responsible for helping SecOps teams continuously measure, manage, and improve their cybersecurity effectiveness with Keysight’s Breach and Attack Simulation Platform 

In this session:
Discuss common causes of data breaches
Investigate the value of continuously validating critical security controls
Learn how to emulate an identified threat event safely on your network with a live breach & attack simulation



Sinead Grady, Senior Analyst at the ISF and current IRAM2 Product Owner 

Sinead is a Senior Analyst at the ISF and is the current IRAM2 Product Owner – the ISF’s risk assessment methodology. She is also part of the QIRA team developing a methodology to quantitatively assess risk. During her time at the ISF she has also been part of the teams who have delivered the interactive guide on Legal and Regulatory Implications for Information Security and the briefing paper entitled Human-Centred Security: Positively influencing human behaviour.

In this session:
Give an overview of the key concepts for performing threat profiling 
Discuss threat profiling in the context of risk assessment 
Introduce phishing, trends and changes in the landscape
