Nina Paine, Global Head, Cyber Stakeholder & Government Engagement at Standard Chartered
Nina Paine is the Global Head, Cyber Stakeholder & Government Engagement at Standard Chartered and sits on the Board of the Chartered Institute of Information Security. Having served in both the public and private sectors, at the National Crime Agency and in Financial Institutions, Nina is committed to building global strong and sustainable public-private partnerships to address cyber risks more efficiently.
Owanate Bestman, founder of Bestman Solutions
Owanate is the founder of Bestman Solutions, a search and selection firm dedicated to meeting the demand for cyber security skills. Owanate advises CISO’s and Heads of on market factors which could impact their headcount goals and designs bespoke solutions to address this. Firmly embedded in the cyber security space, he possesses a strong network of exceptional technical and non-technical security practitioners who have assisted leaders in meeting their business objectives.
Owanate has spent almost a decade recruiting in the Cyber Security field, securing individuals and teams which meet specific technical and/ or leadership requirements for some of the world’s most innovative firms, to the mutual benefit of individuals’ career progression and the needs of the company. Before this Owanate recruited Technology and Operational Risk specialists, during this period he was successful in staffing several high profile banking regulatory programmes. He founded Bestman Solutions in 2020.
Owanate will discuss a recent mandate he was tasked with by a Financial Services organisation: The directive was to recruit both technical and regulatory specialists to bolster the firms' security posture and create a new security division. The Chief Information Security Officer saw this as a potential opportunity to address the gender imbalance within IT and the legacy security division.
Here, Owanate will discuss the challenges he faced both within the firm and in the external market to identify, attract and create the right team. What seemed like a straight forward goal was met with some surprising challenges along the way.
Sarah Janes, Founder of Layer 8 Ltd
Sarah has spent her career managing, delivering and creating security behaviour change programmes. Both from the inside, as BT’s Security Communications Manager to consulting and running programmes for large international businesses. Sarah has developed new methods for changing behaviour putting conversation back at the heart and executing successful long-lasting Champions Programmes.
Sarah is now owner and founder at Layer 8 Ltd, a business dedicated to creating secure behaviours, were she continues to focus on developing practical methods businesses can use to create secure cultures. Since founding the business in 2015 Sarah has delivered programmes for some of the world’s most prestigious brands and is a regular speaker and contributor on security culture, behaviour, and awareness.
Saritha Arunkumar, BE MBA PhD is a Security Leader and Master Inventor
Saritha has 20+ years of experience all being in IT Security space and has been working in a wide span of roles such as Security Lead, Consultant, Specialist, Senior Architect, and now Security Leader.
Saritha has gained deep expertise in Identity and Access Management solutions, Decentralised Identity, Blockchain Security, Web Services security, and Public-key Infrastructure, Cryptography, Privacy solutions, and Internet security. Saritha has created reference architectures and best practices for security blockchain solutions and applied them to various clients across the globe. Most of the projects that she has been involved in revolve around creating end-to-end security architectures, designs, and security solutions. Her research contributes to the wider community has been demonstrated from time to time by chairing and presenting at Internal security seminars/workshops. She has enhanced her personal eminence through external collaborations and connections and is a Fellow of the British Computer Society.

Melanie Oldham, Founder and CEO Bob’s Business LTD
As founder of Bob’s Business Ltd, I have gained over 10 years experience in the cyber security sector and has become a reputable and well-respected force within the industry. I have developed the solutions to demystify the subject of cyber security, often thought of as inaccessible and dry. The use of animation and humour is key to the approach and is proven to change employee behaviours and instil a secure culture.
Bob's Business specialises in developing engaging Information Security Awareness and Educational Phishing Campaigns that effectively engage with small and large audiences. Our light-hearted, humorous, and personal approach helps our clients to develop a secure culture by challenging and changing employee behaviour. In 2017 we educated over 500,000 people. Lisa Hamilton, Director at Deloitte
Lisa is a Director within Deloitte’s Cyber Risk practice. She has over 14 years experience in the Information Security industry working in both the private and public sector, where she has built a wealth of experience in providing pragmatic advice and solutions to effectively manage cyber risks within major organisations. She leads Deloitte’s ‘Women in Cyber’ programme and is keen to inspire future generations and has taken an active role in how we can address the issues surrounding attracting women in cyber.
Lisa holds a BSc in Information Systems from Cardiff University and an MSc in Information Security from Royal Holloway, University of London. Lisa was also nominated in 2017 for the Woman in IT, Security Champion of the year award.
