Being a corporate member of the Chartered Institute of Information Security demonstrates your organisation’s commitment to professionalism within the information and cyber security community. Whether your current focus is on developing talent or driving innovation, CIISec can support your goals through our Corporate Member Programmes. As a corporate member, you will have access to all of the member benefits that we provide and select those that best support your needs. Frameworks & Tools
Corporate membership includes licences to use the latest versions of our CIISec Capability Methodology which includes the Skills Framework, Roles Framework and Knowledge Framework. Together, these tools provide a powerful means to assess and develop employees. To enable you to easily incorporate our Frameworks as part of your internal professional development, we provide a self-assessment tool for your staff. Our off-the-shelf solution saves organisations from the significant expense of creating their own framework and toolset.
Capability Development
The CIISec Capability Development Methodology has been designed to help organisations develop, recruit and retain talent. It can be adapted and tailored for your organisation and will align comfortably with your internal standards and any
external standards that you may use.
Associate Development Programme
Through our Associate Development Programme (ADP), we help organisations to develop team capability by providing a structured one-year training programme. This assists newly employed graduates or those new to the industry with developing the necessary skills to become talented security practitioners.
Full Development Programme
The Full Development Programme (FDP) has been developed to help individuals from our Corporate Members to showcase their skills and knowledge against the Skills Framework. The FDP includes a webinar series led by industry experts with a particular focus on Leadership and Management skills.
Masterclass Programme
Alongside our ADP, we run Masterclass events which are aimed at all levels of membership and are run by subject matter experts to knowledge share and assist you in the development of your teams.
Our Corporate Community
CIISec provides a supportive community for its corporate members. We host meetings where you are able to network with other like-minded corporate members to discuss raising standards in Professionalism and capability and the development of the profession. We work collaboratively with our corporate members on joint initiatives to raise standards in professionalism. We have strong links with students and academia via our CIISec Academic Partners and branch programme helping you to identify tomorrow’s talent.
Offers and Discounts
To encourage professionalism within the organisation CIISec provides significant discounts on individual membership for those working within your organisation and waivers the normal accreditation fees.
Our Packages
Enterprise Membership
This package is suitable for organisations with a <£50m turnover per year and costs £1,500 annually.
Mid Enterprise Membership
This package is aimed at MSEs with an annual turnover between £50m and £500m. Membership costs £4,250 annually.
Large Enterprise Membership
This package is suitable for organisations with a turnover of >£500m per year and costs £7,000 annually.
From a corporate perspective, CIISec provides access to numerous development activities for our staff. I have personally been involved in mentoring a number of our people through the Associate Development Programme (ADP), discussing what they have learned from webinars by industry experts covering a wide range of cyber security disciplines.
