Associate Development Programme
About the Programme
The Associate Development Programme (ADP) has been developed to help individuals from our Corporate members, from new recruits to graduates to those changing career into the profession, to showcase their skills and knowledge against the CIISec Skills Framework. The programme will help an individual to achieve professional recognition rapidly and is a key part of the pathway to Full Membership.
Recognised by the post-nominal ACIIS, as well as a digital badge, the ADP demonstrates your commitment to professionalism and the industry.
Gaining Accredited Membership
To become an Associate Member, participants won’t have to fill out the regular Associate Application form. Instead, they’ll use a simplified form. Towards the end of the program, participants must demonstrate their knowledge by submitting a set of completed flashcards. They also need to showcase practical experience and competency in four areas of the Skills Framework (sections A-I) using the STAR (Situation, Task, Action, Result) format for their evidence. Additionally, a mentor for each participant should provide a brief reference confirming their competence, professionalism, and development of the required professional behaviours as per J Skill requirements.
