We are delighted to welcome Julie Howl as a recent addition to the CIISec team. Julie has joined us as membership administrator, where she will be taking a leading role in supporting our members through the membership renewals process. As a central point of contact, she will be working closely with members to ensure renewals are smooth and straightforward, while also supporting accreditation upgrades, streamlining processes, and resolving queries efficiently.
Julie brings with her a wealth of experience, having built her career predominantly within the Aerospace and Defence sector. Over the years, she has developed strong expertise in sales administration, customer account management, and compliance, including export control. This background has equipped her with the skills and attention to detail that will be invaluable in supporting our membership community.
Her appointment reflects CIISec’s continued commitment to providing members with a high-quality, professional service that not only meets but anticipates their needs. Julie comments:
“While the manufacturing industry was both challenging and rewarding, I was eager to move into a role where I could combine my skills with my genuine interest in cyber security — and CIISec felt like the perfect place to do that. I was drawn to CIISec because of its prestigious reputation and its commitment to supporting members at every stage of their career. I’m excited to be part of that journey, ensuring your membership continues to bring real value and helps you achieve your goals.”
Outside of work, Julie spends much of her time with family and friends and has two football-mad sons who play for local teams, for which she rarely misses a match. Julie also enjoys walking her rescue dog, Bert and relaxing with a good psychological thriller.
